Best footage I've seen of this game so far, and the most clear. Looking at the video gives a proper indication of how realistic it looks. The small part in the video were it shows the camera inside the car behind the driver seat looked just real.

Nevermind the American stages and the daft multi-car race events, Codemasters; give me some pure rally European stages proper and it's a day one for me. Looks as if they have the car handling down, so I'm buying this just for the visuals alone.

The game looks mighty fine indeed, I agree with the assessment that it needs more dust and such though.

I'll be awaiting the demo to see how this game handles, but the vids have shown little promise in that regard to be honest...

Physics STILL look awful! Shame.
Well in my opinion they look better then Forza 3 Physics.
and btw, this game has weather changing and night racing, but Forza 3 dose NOT, a big Shame.
I think Forza 3 still stuck in last gen.

lol, opinions can get a little crazy at times.

By the way, some of the biggest bullcrap this year just came out of Ken Block's mouth with this video.

When the car rolled over it seemed really unrealistic to me. Is that possible, he didn't really lose any speed. Regardless it seems like an exciting game.

Can't wait for this and Forza 3

Do you make that same comment when someone says the same thing about some ps3 footage? Yeah, I didn't think so.

Wow. Just wow. So many things wrong with that I don't even know where to start. Pretty pathetic actually.

On topic: Looks like it could at least be fun playing from the in cockpit view. That damn center axis turning still seems to plague the 3rd person views. Hope they put out a demo of this and Shift in Sept.

I noted that because in the previous dirt 2 post you had aload of PC elitists saying how it must be pc footage as consoles couldnt possibly be capable of it. This new footage shown looks even more impressive... and its from the 360 build. Simple as that.

So yes MS paid me off for not instantly shouting that it will be better on my PC... which runs on microsoft windows.

Ken is an amazing driver, but not terribly bright, so I wouldn't worry too much about the intellectual content! :o)

It does look great, and if the video is from the xbox build, how can that be paying MS lip service? Fucktards...

Why would they keep focusing on the controller if it was a PC build? Just flicked through the video and on several occasions they focus on the controller. As I remember, Grid looked fucking ace on the 360, and seeing as this is using an evolution of Grid's game engine, I see no reason to discount this being the 360 version.

It kinda adds up, you know? (Puts on dodgy mac and strange eye...)

lol, and even Forza 3 its not 100% simulator, that what i like about forza because it feel half arcade and half sim. But the advantage with Dirt 2 that it has Full damege and weather, and forza 3 doesn't.

btw, Im a 360 owner only.

Erm...no.

Forza is more or less a full on console sim when all the assists are turned off. There is nothing arcade about it once those are off. Maybe you meant it's 50/50 when they are turned on, perhaps?

How do you know it's from the Xbox360 version? It could be from the PC-version, using an Xbox360 controller.

I have already asked this before: is it possible to state in the news post which platform the footage is from? Or is that unknown because dev's don't release that information?
i dont know... unless he keeps his pc in a draw, in the living room, hooked up to a HD tv, whilst using a 360 pad.. i dont know

The game looks ridiculous (and SOAD in background rocks), too bad I'm not a fan of off-road racing, also too bad about the physics.
