The oldest ones among us (myself among them) certainly will remember the King's Quest name fondly, and it's back with this first reveal trailer! Developed by The Odd Gentlemen, the title will be out in 2015.
Wow! What amazing news. This for those used to pla with PC ATs and the first VGAs which nicest feature was the whooping 256 colors!

This is great news! They nailed the art style too, looks stunning! I still remember going over to a friends house to play the original Kings and Space Quest games every time a new one came out. There was nothing better.
With the old games being point and click with heavy emphasis on typing in commands and a lot of guesswork, I'm curious how they will bring the gameplay up to date. Going with a context sensitive 2D platformer would be too simple to do the series justice, so I hope they really manage to come up with something more innovative. A new Space Quest game would be amazing as well!
