L.A. Noire will be available next week on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 and we will of course propose to you our personal gameplay videos as soon as possible. Until then, here is the launch trailer of the game.
hopefully the comparisons will hit soon... only thing preventing me from preordering it now is because anything with Rockstar attached to it doesnt seem to compliment the ps3..and i fancy this for my ps3 so i've a reason to use it
Exactly. I'm waiting for that too. I don't mind the multiple discs on 360. But if the PS3 version has a clear edge on the graphical side or a crazy big framerate difference, i will buy that version. But i much rather go for 360, cause i'm always in a XBL party with friends, and i like the 360 controller more as well. We'll see.

As much as I would love to believe you, I don't think so, this is using an upgraded version of Rockstar's Rage engine that was started on X360/Microsoft DirectX platform.
I could be wrong but if the game is interesting I will buy it for PS3 as I also did for GTAIV the complete edition in one disc.

No it's not using RAGE, it's using an engine built by Team Bondi.

very true. but it gives it a better chance then a bare bones port at least. not that i care, renting it on the PS3 even if it has no grass...lol...just correcting akumajo seeing as it isnt using the RAGE engine, but then why would it? it isnt even a R* game
yeah thats what offers abit more hope regarding the performance quality of the ps3 version. Although its not that out of the box to think it'd be using the same engine as GTA4.. Rockstar may not be developing, but they are producing.. so you'd think at some point they'd have offered the engine. Looks very simular anyway
