I really want to see gameplay! Let's hope it plays at least as good as mafia 2.

I imagine a lot of the gun play and driving will be similar to GTA or RDR. But then there will be other elements, such as examining crime scenes, questioning witnesses & interrogating suspects. It should be an interesting change of pace.

To be honest:

I hope it plays nothing like GTA or RDR. I'm sick of "driving to an event/mission/cutscene" being 65% of the gameplay. Because thats what it boils down to in GTA and RDR. And redoing that driving bit if I fail the mission makes me furious. Drive 6 minutes shoot 1 minute die, and redo the driving just to die again.
Mhh... no thank you.

I hope this time around we'll be quick traveling to the crime scene. Know why? Cuz I'm playing a police officer not Miss Daisy's driver.

I hope the investigation sequences are akin to Heavy Rain's investigation sequences. And that the gunplay and driving segments are tightened up evolutions of GTA and RDR gameplay. That would be perfect.

They'd better have a lot of gameplay variety to make it not feel like all other Rockstar games that are so predictable. Team Bondi better show their stamp, instead of typical Rockstar North/San Diego trademarks.

hell no, anything but...

start cutscene game: prompt on object, click object, game says what it is what it does, 5 objects & last object later: movie sequence starts. Oh noes, fight sequence: QTEvent. Ends movie sequence.

And I thought people were bored with indigo Prophecy the first time, but there will always be masochists.

R* seems to have abandoned PC development totally! Still no word on the Red Dead PC port and this isn't hitting PC either...I wonder how badly was GTA4 pirated on the platform

When did Rockstar ever care about PC?

Indigo Prophecy was one of the best games for me at this time.
I love QTEs if they are done well, e.g. Shenmue1+2, Indigo Prophecy,...

This game gives me uncanney valley creeps like crazy. One second the faces are spot-on-perfect, the next not, and it keeps switching back and forth. To top it off, the rest of the bodies move like robots so the faces almost look photoshopped ontop.
I really like the concept, but I seriously don't think realism is the best way to go. You can tell if people are lying even when faces are caricatured, it's also a lot more convenient for the eyes. I want to see a game like this but in a less realistic style.

Indigo Prophecy is one of the best games ever released for the PS2 and Heavy Rain was amazing too on PS3 so here's hoping this game will be as good as those.
