Strange why they choose to port this game? I think the interest for PC version of RDR would be much bigger...

Indeed. I couldn't care less for this game to be honest but RDR GOTY for the PC would be a day one purchase.

Maybe because this game was made by a different company then Rockstar would be a good reason.

Hardly. Bully and GTA IV were both developed by Rockstar and released on the PC as well.

And both were some of the WORST examples of porting console games to PC.

Great narrative and some nice set pieces in this game, however it becomes boring and repetitive after awhile and the only thing keeping you playing in those last hours was only to see how the story finished. Not worth replaying, and certainly not worth another purchase just to get graphics that were ported from the xbox.

piracy is more on pc because its very easy, u just need a cracked file to run, on consoles its more headache work, custom farmwares etc etc, burn into disc with spcl software at spcl speed or u need a external hdd dedicated for those games only. so on pc piracy is more popular and everybody has a pc these days, thats why. so dont say pc gamers pirates consoles gamers not. if piracy really was the problem then they havnt rlzd la noire on pc or will rlz max payne 3 on pc. its just the companies like sony and microsoft's money games to keep something spcl for their consoles only

Hey calm down and come to the real world, not the fantasy one you think you are in, here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qEyxxpNQFIk&feature...

Use some patience, at some point some "PC gamer elitist" will ask the Id software staff something along the lines of:

"how about these "_____" (implying consoles or devs making games on them" holding back PC gaming"

Tim Willits immediately and without flinching replies:

"not as bad the PC gamers stealing the games" (implying piracy) and he smiles, then John Carmack tags in. ;)

Also just wanted to add I feel bad that the game developer that made this game is closing down due to low sales, that sucks, this game was very interesting and the dev could have made another game with a different setting but its like gamers probably acted like "oh well this is not GTA so..."

they didn't close down due to low sales (I wouldn't call 4 million low), but because they wasted a ton of money in those 7 years of development

i guess some pc sales will give them some more profit

& agree with Akumajo, people didnt understood the difference between GTA and LA Noire, or with MAFIA.

Dude they spend/invested alot of money into making the tech that made LA Noire possible, there is no other game, not even the game made by John Carmack that can touch the human animation system in LA Noire, it really adds alot a major generational leap in software and honestly even if it sold 4 million copies its likely that they invested alot more money than that so they would have to have sold near GTA copies as its no wonder why they partnered up with Rockstar... but the gamers amazingly resisted, its kind of sad.
