Here is a 4K trailer for L.A. Noire showing Cole Phelps investigating a string of murders in 1947 Los Angeles. The bitrate is not as high as on would hope but Rocsktar US doesn't seem to send HQ files to the press anymore. The title will hit PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on November 14 alongside L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files for HTC Vive.

Has it been enhanced in any way other than upping the res? Looks better and more colorful than I remember it on PC, maybe saturation filter applied to trailer.

it had horrible pop in. Bought it in a whim and it was atrocious to look at that it ruined the whole mood of the city.

didn't recall any shortcoming like that on the console/360 version.

I have to say that in some parts the game doesn't benefit from the higher resolution. The extremely sharpened edges makes the game feels less cinematic.

I don't know what to say except for "works on my machine". PC experience is inconsistent like that, maybe you had 5400rpm HDD or something else from your configuration didn't tick well. My only gripe was 30fps lock, but it can't be helped as the game code depends on it.

It may not seem THAT enhanced, but it is very possible that this game will run at FULL 4K 60FPS on current 4K consoles which may be a very good looking enhancement as it is not easy for games to reach that if made specifically for current gen.
