We just received the live feed, in high definition, of the Uncharted 2 demo that was presented during the E3 Sony media briefing. You've probably already seen it in good screener quality but we're HD whores so here it is anyway.
Oh my oh my!!! SOOOO yummy! Best looking game of the show - No competition what so ever! Like I said before Naughty Dog is the only developer to have really impressed me with their PS3 games. They really deserve so much credit, Sony is lucky to have them.
Yeah, this looks totally awesome. I'm playing the first one right now an I really like it. Looking forward to the multi player too, the beta is a blast :)
Looks absolutely superb... a beautiful blend of Tomb Raider and Gears of War with better graphics than both and some stunning setpieces and views! Loved the first game, can't wait to play the second. I'm very pleased that Naughty Dog fixed the only gripe I had with the first game too, namely the nasty screen tearing.
Uncharted is my end all be all favorite game on the PS3. There are very few reasons I turn on my Sony beast- but this is 'The One' that I can't get enough of. I love the first game SO much that I've played it from start to finish about four times. (maybe five?) and the next one looks every pixel as good- even with the expectation of "MORE MORE MORE" for a sequel. You can take your Metal Gear- your Final Fantasy- I have no love for those- but Uncharted... give me 15 games of this and THEN I'll be a happy, happy gamer.
Game seems inspired by Half Life 2 IMO. It was interesting how Valve made that one Combine chopper a major nemesis during the first half of the game...Naughty Dog seems to be doing the same with the Hind D. You can see the chopper during the first single player gameplay vid too
The ONLY problem I had with that gameplay footage was that helicopter seemed to come out of nowhere lol...And wouldn't you hear a helicopter coming from a mile off?
Don't tell me this game is so awesome it has ninja helicopters :o!
Amazing art design and level design. I really hope the MP part of the game can provide something worth coming back to long term. The first game was ok but nothing special. I'm hoping this game can really take it up a notch. They just need to fix the gunplay, that was really the weakest part of the first game. Poor combat will always drag a game down from great to just good.
