Xbox 360 PS3

EA today released a demo of FaceBreaker on Xbox Live (aswell as a Madden demo), and here are some images captured of it. We'll have a gameplay video here soon too. The PSN demo will go online on the 7th of August..
Update: Video added, and never has it felt so good to volley-punch someone in the balls.

Couldn't they find any more original fonts to use instead of Badaboom and Anime Ace?

Peter Moore is in it as a playable character, lol!!!

I suck at the game though, I can hardly beat easy.. They really need to make these games easier on easy if you ask me, otherwise it's not gonna be fun for a lot of people..

I really had high hopes but this game is such a let down for me.
Graphicwise I had wished more effects and I wished that it would have played more like the old Ready2Rumble on Dreamcast but instead it plays like a real cheap arcade game. Maybe there will be a new Ready2Rumble or I'll go with FNR4 if it plays like the 3rd.

Button mashing all the way. Plus, is this a "boxing" game... ? Pffffw.

too high paced. You dont get that nice feeling you got when you landed any kind of punch on your oponent in fight night.

button bashing at its worse. If you're gonna make a game brainless then you've got to atleast make it pretty...thems the rules. This broke that rule.

Pretty funny time to release the demo, i just got Soul Calibur 4 and had an awesome time playing vs some nice dudes online. Absolutely spectacular fighting game that one.
Then i notice this demo, and i try it. And all you do is spam high punch or low punch, nothing else. lol

They couldnt have picked a worse time :)

Try parrying, it works, try dodging, it works, try dashing backwards then for forward while punching, it works, this works well against button mashers.

Yep. Downloaded this demo and when I got to the actual match and found out it was nothing but a masher's dream, I deleted it. Went back to SCIV.

It's an arcade boxing game what did you guys expect? Also it gets far more involved than simple button mashing, but who cares I guess :)

The trailers made us think it's another Ready2Rumble but it's gameplay is so worse. Yeah you can parry or dodge but there is nothing more to the gameplay then it's super simple 2 button gameplay. This game is far from fun or awesomness even compared to some cheap arcade beat em ups...
Even the graphics aren't that great although it's from EA and we know that EA most of the time delivers in this part

Facebreaker is nicely presented but it comes across as a being a bit too shallow for my liking. It's the kind of game that I'd play for ten minutes with mates and then never play again. Seems more suited to the Wii to be honest where its motion-sensing controls might have added a little more depth to the game, as well as adding to the fun of playing it.

how could the motion controls add depth to game...lol, if anything its more suited to the wii becasue the wii market are just a shallow as this game is.

i mean, if you have a really basic, retardedly easy to play game idea, what console do you put it on? the wii. why? because wii owners lap it up cos they wouldnt know a good game if it kicked them in the face.
