Square-Enix just released a new trailer of Tomb Raider which should ease the wait for those of you who are eagerly waiting for our gameplay videos. We should have them up within a few days, so stay tuned.
That review made me laugh more than it should have V_V....kinda want this game, can't make up my mind, would want MGS:Rising if it wasn't for the supposedly 4hr length as much as I love great action titles with challenge.
I was laughing at that Conan Review this morning. Also Camilla Luddington (Lara Croft voice actress) retweeted that video, from her twitter account, and she said it was hilarious! lol
I'm so indecisive about whether i want to buy this or not. I do think it'll be good, but something is putting me off, i don't know if its her horrible voice, the weird animations, or the story and characters being a bit shite (according to reviews anyway)

I'm in the same boat. Everything I thought looked poor about the game are the same things that the reviewers are gushing about in their perfect 10 reviews. Even the character actor for Lara is getting rave reviews in almost every one I read. Apparently the lack of exploration and puzzles aren't an issue and the voice actors and story are amazing. The only negative thing that most point out is the secondary characters, which isn't a game killer.
Looks like all of us naysayers may have to eat our words and give it a go. Looks like I will at least be renting it to see if it is as good as advertised. If so, way to go Crystal Dynamics!
Yeah, i was going to rent it, but the reviews are making it seem like i should be owning it...despite them echoing a lot of my initial gripes (characters outside of lara are stereotypical, throw aways) story is a bit meh. Transition from victim to killer is jarring, but the gameplay is apparently decent (which i thought it looked decent anyway) but will i be able to get beyond my hate for her voice though? (I haven't heard a single thing where she sounds believable or well acted) and the jerky, almost sped-up animations? I just don't know. It's definitely my type of game, but a pretty uninspired, unpolished version of my type of game...kinda like the upcoming "remember me". Is that enough to pick it up? Or just rent? I haven't been this undecided since far cry 3 (which ended up being a pleasent surprise)
I'm buying Tomb Raider, because I need some diversion, to pass the time waiting for "The Last of Us" to come out. God of War Ascension will help with this, as well.
