GSY Video PC PS4 Xbox One

After quite a chatty coverage of Shadow of the Tomb Raider yesterday, we have some more videos to share, this time without nothing else than the game's sound effects and music. If you've already watched everything we posted, there isn't anything new today, other than the fact that we're showing the PC version of some of the environments featured in our Xbox One X videos. As a bonus, we also have an HDR video recorded on Microsoft's console. In case there is still someone interested in our livestreams on the English side, we'll be playing the game for 30 minutes tonight at 9 CET.

Note:

As "usual", the HDR video will only work as it should on a HDR screen. Simply copy the file(s) to a USB media and plug it into your TV or console. You can also use a Chromecast Ultra or some TVs to watch the video on our Youtube channel, but the quality won't be as good obviously.

Note 2:

As you may have noticed, some sounds are missing in today's PC videos. The reason is simple, we used Amarec and not Mirillis Action to record the footage this time, and sadly it can only support 2.0. It wouldn't have been a problem if the PC had not been set up in 5.1. It was a really stupid mistake, so we're sorry about that.

By the way, there is a sound issue in today's PC video. It's all explained in the news article. Should have stuck with Mirillis Action!

Just 2 questions:

How is the optimization of the PC version?
Who made the PC version, Eidos Montreal, Nixxes or another developer?

If you have already talked about them in the commented videos, I apologize as I won't watch them until I've finished the game.

PS. Off-topic - Since only you was talking in the Spider-Man's commented videos, could you ask BlimBlim what he thinks of the game. I might be wrong, but I believe he would enjoy it.

PC Comparison video says it's better optimized than the last game.

RTX is experimental for SoTR but also Nvidia will be optimizing it as well.

I also just watched the comparison videos for the Xb1X version, very close to pc version. PS4 pro version also looks pretty clean. very pleased with the engine's capabilities.

It's not perfect, there are drops but I think it's still better optimized than Rise at launch. I might be wrong though.

As for Blim playing Spider-Man, it's just impossible, he would never survive the first fight. :)

Agreed. The charm from the old character and games just isn't here anymore. This one isn't all that likeable at all. I actually enjoy watching her die or fall off of cliffs onto pointy rocks, or get mauled by a bear
