Yeah nothing about that sounds like a bad thing, this might be fun. COD is a near perfect blueprint for how FPS games should control in the eyes of many people, including myself. Aside from the linearity of the games there is pretty much nothing wrong with those core mechanics which explains why every developer tries and fails to emulate them.
COD fails in its singleplayer story all the time!!! Like a Steven Segal movie, saving the world on your own. Now this is a James Bond game, so you suppose to save the world and that is how it should be.... The story fits to its concept and that is why this game will be cool!!!
i love the end of this trailer (the scene after it says goldeneye blah blah blah) the big finale to the trailer.. he shoots a guy and his boat patheticly blows up.. please repeat this part, its such a terrible scene to put in a trailer let alone a finale .. its hilarious :D

Yeah exactly what i thought. Terrible but funny
I am personally really looking forward to the game though because i like the replay structure from the original GE template where you you have more objectives. A mode where checkpoints don't exist is also in keeping with this. I think at the least it will be enjoyable and more so maybe if you enjoyed the first amazing game. And N64 GE really is still an incredible game i've found

agreed, I can say that one of my happiest moments in life was having some of my closest friends come over and spend all night on the original Golden Eye. had so many hard laughs that night doing ridiculous karate chopping. sadly, modern games never seem to achieve the awesomeness of games during the Nintendo era, as I forget most of the games I play now.

Hell we used to play single player games (take them in turns) and it was such great fun
now..its all micro phones, online (socializing in general) has made the human being a lazy creature.
