A little better but the characters still look hideous compared the original professionally designed ones. I never use these customize modes

Why don't they let show the guy making a cool looking/bad-ass looking character. I understand that some people like to play as "funny" ridiculous characters, but this turns me off...

Exactly. There's more ridiculous about SC now than appealing. Unlike 8-15 years ago. And that's pity.

Do you really think that it's impossible to do so? Did you watch the video? This is how they created the default costumes, it's like a sandbox for an FPS except instead of map editor you have a character editor.
What I see here has great potential. Yes there will be hideous designs but they know this (he even jokes about this in the video), you just need someone creative in control, just look at some of the user created costumes on SF4 PC.

System like this is good, if they can easily update it, then devs can spend less time modelling and more time making the game mechanics better.

Dead or Alive 5 needs this.
