The Japanese website for Virtua Tennis 3 was updated today with a bunch of images showing the menus and such in the game. We also added a big bunch of 1080p and normal 720p images that we just might have forgotten to put up here earlier.
Erm, the 1080p images are direct buffer grabs and the 720p ones are downscales from those.
I'd be surprised if the game actually runs at native 1080p and with 2X FSAA on the PS3. So far games seem to be 720p at barely 30fps, just like with the 360.
edit: ooh you meant some of those shots, which clearly are upscales, and whats worse, upscaled from non-FSAA screenshots. UUgllieeeehh.
Also the crowd seems to be made from flat prerendered characters instead of next-gen geometry instancing (which gives you sprites/clones that change angle as the camera moves as if they were polygonal).

No, this is not coming out in March. Recent announcements suggest that it will be the back end of Q2 before we see this game in the stores. It will launch in Europe first.
