First 10 minutes Xbox 360 PS3

Halloween is upon us and John Marston is about to live a real nightmare in Rockstar's latest downloadable content for Red Dead Redemption. In Undead Nightmare, which is an independent chapter from the main story, Marston will indeed have to face hungry zombies and other mythical creatures too. Expect a lot of second degree here obviously (the beginning of the game actually reminds a bit of Braindead), it is safe to say that this additional content really is worth the 800 Microsoft Points ($10) necessary to get it. As the game has gotten a little more challenging as well, since you must apply the "Headshot's the only true stopper" technique in order to gun down zombies once and for all, those who play the game in manual mode should be pleased to prove their worth. Here is the first 10 minutes of the adventure a second part will also be added shortly.
Update: Second video is up, with a little more action!

The day I bought RDR, zombie/monsters was the first thing I came up with as a wish they could have made perfect setting in a western game, this was waaaaay before the DLCs was announced.
I was shocked when R* announced the exact thing I wanted :)

Too bad I dont have RDR anymore, traded it months before the DLC was announced, no plans on re-buying it.

From what I've heard, it takes between 6 and 10 hours to complete, depending on the number of sidequests you do. Then again, it's about half the price of the GTA4 DLC chapters.

I just finished it. Took about 8 hours but I tried to do every "side quest". I say "side quest" because its the same fucking thing every time. Clear a town of zombies. Good thing that it's pretty darn fun shooting zombies.

Wow, that's disappointing on the variety. But does the main quest have a lot of variety with the zombie situations? Like Alan Wake level of variety?

the DLC is not as great as i expected it to be. it is fun to kill zombies but it gets repetitive since pretty much the only thing u have to do is shoot them in the head. it doesn't get more interesting if you add more zombies either, and thats because of the increased dead aim pretty much makes any size horde your bitch. if i find myself getting overunned i can just simply enter dead aim and thin out the pack. pretty simple and kinda kills the challenge. the ammo system replacing currency is pointless as well since u can find ammo everywhere.

overall though, i like the story and the new cut scenes, and it is nice to have more to shoot at as well as playing as john marston again, but if you're low on money i wouldn't try to go out of ur way to buy this.
