I've finally gotten after a few weeks of delay my shipment of three 360 games for my japanese system. Let's start with Bullet Witch, a game developed by Cavia and it shows. You know something's wrong when the very first playable scene of a game is already full of slowdowns. The game isn't ugly, far from it in fact with some cool lighting effect, but it's full of graphical glitches, especially the shadows. The gameplay isn't great either, but not totally bad too. It's just more difficult that it should be to get the ennemies in the center of the visor, and it's usually simpler to just go straight to them than to strafe around. Not a completely bad game, not a good one, just very average.

I really am looking forward to this game, looks like it's got a cool balance of mindless shooting and strategic use of magic abilities, plus it's got that "omg that freakin monster is HUGE" feeling, and an epic viewpoiint behind the main character.
Shame, because the story seems good and the graphics are certainly impressive.
The graphics will be better:)
Another sunday morning...
The graphics will be better:)
The aiming system took me a few levels to adjust too, but once you get the hang of it its extremely easy to run n gun your way around levels using magic on the fly. I never noticed any slowdown either, shadows were a bit off but I guess im more tolerant then many with them since I tend to ignore them on all games.
Overall though Im probably happier with bulletwitch then any other title on my 360s.(26 games across 2 regions) I will say it was way to short though. 6 levels is nowhere near enough, you can clear the game in 3 hours if your good. 5 hours if your terrible.
Odd. Genuinely, from the bottom of my heart - odd!

I like when you called the lighting to destroy the gas station. A huge piece of rock almost fell on you.
