It's with great pleasure (but without the help of MS) that I'm presenting you the first 12 minutes of Halo 2 from the retail version of the game (no idea if the leak is different or not). You may not be that interested by what is said, but take your time staring at the incredible realtime cutscenes. Certainly some of the best looking cutscenes I've ever seen, realtime or prerendered. Bungie sure knows how to use the Xbox to the max. Enjoy !

A bit yes, nothing really awful but it can be distracting.

damn, oh well, but is it enough that it sorta takes you out of the experience?

Nope, not for me at least. The cutscenes look really gorgeous and a few problems here and there are not that big of a deal.

After this video Chronicles of Riddik seems grafically better, specially the npc's 3D models and textures. And the space station seems like the Pillar of Autumn...all equal. I will land to the Earth! :D

Well it's difficult to compare both games since one can focus on rather small rooms with few ennemies at a time. Something Halo 2 couldn't certainly not do.
Normal mapping and per pixel shadowing are very resource intensive, and even with all this riddick had to cut some corners with the weird half resolution you could get sometimes.

can you believe gamespot's score, not really the score, but the value score, what would you give it for value blim?

I don't like giving scores or anything, but I think the value grade has me wondering. I agree that the few graphic glitches can prevent the game from getting a perfect 10 there. Sound and gameplay couldn't get anything but a 10 so Greg K had to find something to get the score to be what he wanted it to be (like most if not all reviewers do).
I don't understand how "value" can get a 9 when he says the game has virtually an unlimited replay value because of live.
But then, 9.4 from Gamespot, and especially Greg K is a very good score.
