As promised, here is the second part of the adventures of Snoopette in the world of Oblivion. This time you'll get a bit of magic, a few fights, more dialogs and a first glimpse of the outside world.
Im suprised someone took the time to make these videos. Anyone that has the slightest intrest in the game is either sleeping or playing oblivion right now.

The first part has been downloaded more than 2500 times already.
It would be awesome if I was able to record PAL60 videos, but I haven't succeeded in it with my Radeon 9250 ViVo card. What kind of system does it require to record PAL60?
This is really a wonderful game!!! I have been waiting for this vids for about 5 days, but I've got the game at this time...still this is a great idea (I mean making such a long videos) thank you blim... I wonder how will the next Elder scroll look like, coz this game is nearly perfect...

can someone tell me how to pick locks without doing auto attempt? i suck with them lol
I made an account just for you jekyl200, with locks the first 3 of them have two speeds, there is a fast up that falls right away, then a slightly slower up that falls slower. Click the first tumbler a couple times and notice the speed, what I do is hit it up and see if it is a quick faller or a slow faller, quick faller? I hit it up again and hit A, because the next one will be a slow faller. Problem is the last 2 have a fast up fast down, slow up fast down, and a slow up slow down, so there are three possibilities.
That is the system I told all my friends I'm using and they said it helps a ton.
Man I've been trying for 3 days (in oblivion days) to steal the stuff inside the fighters arena betting chest.
Its such a hard lock to pick lol. I just hide in the shadows so I can't be seen and pick it while a guard is right there, but he doesn't see me picking it. At first I wasn't going to join the thieves guild, but once I heard that gray fox can shrink to the size of a mouse, disappear at will and change into mist to sneak under a door instead of picking it I just HAVE to get into that guild to learn that stuff. Someone gave me an invitation to the theives guild I'm going to go meet him (not going to say where for fear of spoiling someone's fun)
I found this scary cave FILLED with nothing but coffins and I entered something that was called the lord's chamber or something so god damn scary I left before it got dark outside. I'm really afraid of running into vampires in this game.
These 10 min videos are great. I'm not usually an RPG person but seeing this I think I'll take a chance and get this very soon.
Also the graphics are amazing, especially the outdoor bit.
I have the game yet have downloaded the first part and am getting the second right now... don't know why but I am. I'm wondering if you will go into a guild or group such as the arena, or just stick to the main story line, or just wander about. I myself have done very little of the main quests and have just focused on the other guilds and the arena. Also... picking flowing has taken hours from my days... :P
I also created an account just for jekyl, lol. Have been visiting the site for months but never felt compelled to comment till now. Great site you guys have here, love all the first 10min videos and all the other great content you bring us.
Anyway, the secret to picking locks is to listen to the sounds the tumblers make when you push them up. There are two sounds I've noticed:
1. A short metal on metal sound. This indicates the tumbler will immediately fall back down.
2. Similar to the first but you will hear it kind of double clutch. This indicates the tumbler will briefly stick up, giving you a chance to lock it in. When you hear this sound, hit A immediately to lock it in place.
Once you're able to differentiate between the sounds, you will be picking even very hard locks with ease.
If your magic abilities are high enough, you could always buy the open lock spells as well, that's what I use now except for the very hard locks, which I've yet to find a spell for.
This is truly one of the greatest games ever created. There are so many unique moments to be had and so much content that I can see myself playing this game well in to the future. I killed a bear last night at the top of a cliff with water below. The bear ended up very realistically tumbling down the cliff and took a slow motion back flip in to the water. It was so cool and realistic I couldn't believe it actually happened. Only in Oblivion! My arse and my couch have been getting to know each other very well this past week.

I say drop the sword somewhere on the ground then pick it back up AFTER you talk to him then leave lol.
Yeah, I tried that (you know you're tired when you have a hard time spelling tried), but it won't work. All the Bades weaponry dissapears after the emperor bites the big one.

It plays like a FPS, no worries :)
Yeah, but it's not like fast precise aiming and movement matters in this game I think.. Most of the fighting is hacking&slashing right? And since it's only SP, I don't care as much that I suck with it..
You didn't answer my question though, can you aim/look with the leftstick and move with the rightstick? Or is this again a game that doesn't support southpaw? That's the only thing I need to know, thxs..

But why isn't snoopette using that katana she found in the beggining?
It's way better than her current sword
Yea that katana owns, plus that katana you can't keep one of the guards take it back to burry along with her as a tribute or something.

You don't need a sword when youre dead, stupid guard :(

Can anyone tell me how the controls are in this game? Can I move with the rightstick and aim/look with the leftstick?
