its just the player isnt very good thats all
that's because the player isn't using the lock-on option, that is present in the game
The storyline is first. Then the gameplay which is not that hard. And all the mini games and features put in it.
I guess those are the most important for the japanese audience the game is targeting first.
But Japanese games catering for a smaller Japanese install base, can't have all the technical wonderful details Western ones do, it's actually awesome this is such an upgrade from RGG2.
But it's just the player that sucks (sorry DJmizuhara, I am sure you were just getting used to it), that game is so damn awesome, I really wish it was gettign a Western release.
Well, I don't know why people are comparing Yakuza to GTA, because actually Yakuza doesn't try to be a GTA like game. In my opinion it's far more of a "Beat'em UP RPG", than a "sandbox" game.
Yakuza always plays within pedestrian zones (so, no, ofcourse you can't steal cars - as I said above you, it's not a GTA kind of game and it doesn't try to be)

Thanks for the videos DjMziuhara and BlimBlim
Still, I'm tempted to import all the same as I doubt SEGA will ever release this in the West.
