The least you can say is that the Call of Duty games have always know how to build impressive scripted sequences involving the players in massive conflicts. Developer Sledgehammer Games are back with Call of Duty: Vanguard, which takes us back to WWII in its new single-player campaign. We don't know yet if it's entertaining enough to keep us on our toes until the end, but the first 50 minutes have been pretty effective so far. Obviously, don't expect to see any changes to the soon-to-be-twenty-year-old franchise, it's the same old corridors packed with action packed set pieces. That said, if you're WWII enthusiasts like we are, it could be worth a look.
