Gonna take this opportunity to unashamedly praise Mirillis Splash, the best video player. I use if for over 5 years now and the quality is just excellent. Can't recommend it enough.
And if one of the people at Mirillis happens to read this, Mirillis Splash is excellent, but 2 very big problems:
1. It doesn't support 10-bit color videos, which is a really, really big disadvantage and should be fixed as soon as possible;
2. Lack of support for additional Audio formats, like Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, etc. for non Bitstream configurations.
