Like a Dragon 8 will arrive in 2024 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. Here is the announcement trailer for this sequel to the RPG Yakuza: Like a Dragon.
Cross gen in 2024...I wouldn't be surprised if we get effectively PS4 visual quality the whole of this gen with this series...Also, I enjoyed Kiryu...but why bring him back except playing it safe...?

Yeah cross gen must go by then, even now it’s pointless. But in 2013 Sony said at E3 that PS4 will have at least 10 years of lifespan so this cross gen is not because of the chip shortage caused availability problems. Unfortunately it was planned way before so expect more cross gen games in the future, they just want to sell as many copies possible. It sucks
the moment the series (engine) stopped being 60 fps on PS4, the platform was dead on the water. Kamurocho must be clear smooth bliss, not that underwater aquarium that was Kiwami 2 and forward.
