Not enough dev diaries in the first Lords of Shadow. This is a welcome insight!

Why am I not excited for this. I really enjoyed LoS I infact still own it but maybe I feel like they've done everything they could with the game. They are their own enemies, in flawlessly delivering their vision they've left no room for expectations. That's how I feel.

I hope the game doesn't rely often in AAA™ spectacle scenes - fighting a lot of enemies on top of huge thing (titans or something similar) with shaky cam... It's not fun in the demo, it wasn't fun in GOW III.

One thing i don't like about combat is that you barely see when enemies attack, thanks to the effects from your weapons. Otherwise combat system is simple like LoS1. Nothing bad, but nothing great either.

Loved the art/graphics, it looks insanely good on 360. Platforming though is too automatic? You mostly need to hold the left stick, few places required timing jumps, but ehh wasn't fan of it.

Yeah, mostly negative first impressions.

Los was good with great environments. This one looks more darker, grittier ? 30fps locked is the limit. There are lots of detail and fixed camera looks cool but it should be smooth for action game.

I just beat the demo for Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2 last night, and I LOVED IT! I love the spooky presence they give Dracula, and the controls are flawless. It took me a minute to get use to it's platforming on the Titan, but once I got the hang of it, it was really fun.

I haven't heard any word on a Collector's Edition for the United States. There is a Limited Edition for the UK. It's a big coffin and little action figures. Also a snazzy steel book cover.

Yeah I read that the first game dropped below 30fps a lot. 60fps locked is not necessary I think GOW games got it perfect, it plays smoothly and looked amazing
