Wii

While a third entry has just been announced on the Nintendo DS, Lost in Blue will benefit from a graphical overhaul to the 3D for its Nintendo Wii entry. I like how one of the main characters is called Aldan Sanders...which is really similar to Adam Sandler, the popular american actor. Coincidence?

"won't benefit from a graphical overhaul to the 3D for its Nintendo Wii entry."

fixed. The DS ones were 3d but top-down as well.

Actually with the emphasis on the environment and such (at least in the first DS one), this might make a cool game with a big open world and lush graphics. Also physics interactivity would be good.

Saying that it looks shit would give it too much credit.

It seems the screenshots were captured very poorly. I will wait for better ones.

This game has the potential of being REALLY good on the Wii, and I was genuinely excited when I heard the news that it'd be coming out for it. I mean Trauma Center is absolutely insane amounts of awesome on the Wii, so much so that going back to the DS game is difficult.

This looks hideous though, and the scarceness of backgrounds imply that they're not doing much here that they couldn't do on the DS. Oh well, I'll keep watching it.

The characters remind me of Skies of Arcadia on the DC, the way the faces are drawn and all that. It looks immersive too, which is always good!

The first game was a lot of fun on the DS, nice little distraction for sure. I didn't get to play the other ones but if this is indicative of the quality the rest of the games featured, I'm not sure I want to. I'll stick to Harvest Moon, MySims and Animal Crossing for these style of games if Konami just doesn't give a damn enough to make it look better than a low-budget 1st gen Dreamcast game.
