I haven't played any type of demo for this game, so I just hope they tweaked some of the more frustrating aspects of the gameplay, like the excessive stumbling (which seemed perfectly timed with enemy rocket reloads)

I played a demo at PAX and it's as solid as it looks.

This game will probably have a very hard time with Red Dead Redemption so close though.

from what i played of the previous demo it still has the drawn out stumbling animation. Controls pretty much the same.

Played the demo and loved it, don't know whats wrong with stumbling when you get hit or nearly hit by an explosive force, seems to me you should learn to dodge roll...

From the lost planet community site. They give away a lot of redeem codes for both versions. Not sure if they still have some left. :)

Question: does this remind anyone else of Gunvalkyrie? Something about the character designs and movement, I can't escape it

Same here.

As frustrating as the first game could be, I somehow enjoyed it.
I think, aside from a couple of flaws, it has some awesome shooting mechanics (not to mention the graphics and sound).

and now we can get relief from the darn snow!

I agree that the multiplayer sucks. I got the demo from the LP community site. I only played three or four matches and haven't touched it since. I am sure the single player portion will be top notch. But the multiplayer just turned me off completely. I didn't care for the MP of the first either, I thought the single player was good with the varied boss fights and such.

Don't care about MP but I am still a bit puzzled as to how SP is going to work. I enjoyed the alone in the wilderness feel of LP1 which seems to be gone, will wait for reviews on the SP on this one.

If you would have the time to do so !
The problem was once you got hit...you just got hit again. The time you need to get on your feed the reloaded and hit you again. Was bad !

Otherwise this game looks really bad ass...just worried too about the feel and control. Hope it turns out better...really hope so !

It's not about learning how, it's knowing when to implement it if you can't see what's coming, either because you are facing the wrong way or completely blinded by smoke and explosions.

They actually mentioned very little regarding single player which makes me feel that single player will end up being the same thing as offline multiplayer. Which would be unfortunate.
