Exactly, the uniqueness of the original seem lost here. I'm waiting for the reviews before judging it, but seems a bit to generic now.

what is to miss, they still are in the game, this time there is a little more variety.

A remake of pirate's fortress is a certain.

Because of the Snow? Why would anyone want to play in the same environments a second time? The core gameplay and what made the first one so much fun seems to be still there... there's just less snow...

Bah! If the SP is not up to snuff I will not be purchasing and the previous demo left me scratching my head a bit as to how well the whole thing is going to work. I enjoyed the first one though so I will give this a chance.

There is a option.
You can set it so the crosshair moves more than the screen or you can have it like a normal TPS were when you move the crosshair the screen moves.

There is non, players from LP1 found it annoying so they removed it. Besides, LP1 was a "extreme condition" in the cold, the energy heating stuff was to keep you warm and not freeze to death, nice idea, but a hassle after a bit.
Considering there is no snowy atmosphere again :( there is no need for this feature

And with that I cross form not buying it to buy it when I have money, thansk for the answer that was the only bad thing I found about the first because I like it but that part got in my nerves quick I had to put it away.

But now that there will be a option to aim the same way as Gears for example count me the hell in,looks incredible to be honest.

Any news in the campaign? will be coop¿?

I personally enjoy it the free form crosshair, gives you more mobility and precise aiming, but thats just me...but I loved LP1 so yeah ;)

About campaign co-op yes, up to 3 people.

But the good thing with this is that there is no main character like Wayne from LP1.
YOU are the main character, basically you create your own character froms cratch and customize every detail.
You choose head, torso, legs and backbag. It doesnt stop there...you can mix and match each set in various colors and add camos to them...its endless dude, very! Also you can be male or female as well (but I think the male/female part is only for MP).

So yeah the customization is crazy in this one. I have already set my mind on making my character to look like Wayne with his mask from LP1 if possible, he looked awesome!
If the pieces arent there, then its the snow pirates that helps Wayne and his father, those models are in LP2 for sure I seen them in images ;)

Here is a video of the customization, short but gives you an idea of how it is.

The music seems also to be much more awesome than the first one ;)

LOL.

As you can see there you can make your character as wierd as you want, as goofy as you want, or as serious as you want...but the customization seems very huge.
Now I am unsure if I will buy it or not, but it all comes down to the MP demo, if I have fun with it then I might get it.

No...SP as well!

You can use your customized character in SP and MP, its the same.

One thing that I hate though is that on PS3, for some stupid reason Capcom has added the shooting button to be on the trigger, they should know by now that PS users like it to be on bumpers and not triggers...and no there is no option for it.

But there is some triggers on sale that make it more comfortable I think.

Oh then I can create my character and play the entire campaign with it¿?

Freaking sweet man, they just got another sale with me :D

I have those triggers but my finger starts to hurt after 1 hour of using it, its too far out. I was better off NOT using them, and that is what i am doing, good thing they are very cheap, no loss ;)
I wasent turned off by it though which is a good thing :)

Yeah that is pretty sweet to use your created character in both SP and MP, be it co-op or competitive.
I am still mixed opinion about this title, I do love the japanese style of sci-fi and all, but the gameplay is still mostly like LP1, the core anyways and I do like that as well.

I read that if people had issues with the most animations like falling it takes a bit to recover, or explosions nearby it has a slow animation reaction...etc. that stuff, then LP2 will be exactly that.
I think the reason why they did this is a design choice, just like MGS, to make the character feel more human and not armored like characters like you see in most shooters. Gives it a bit of a flare (spelling?) it.
I call it stylized movement :)

My problem with LP1 MP was that when you get hit with the regular assault your character stutters in animations alot so you could not move. There is a trick that you dodge roll all the time until the enemy is out of bullets and going to reload, then just stop rolling around and your time to shoot.

Not only that but the idea of characters using VS weapons and going in close combat is annoying, the reason is because you will be surprised if one comes with a VS weapon in a tight corner, one shot and your dead, two max. That is my biggest grip, characters using VS weapons and the cheapness of them in close combat.

But the rest is awesome :)

I hope the LP2 MP demo has fixed some small issues I had with LP1 MP or have enough new features for me to like and forget my issues. So far it looks...better.

Though the reason why I stopped playing LP1 MP was because I didnt want to pay for XBL anymore, so I am going with PS3 version if I decide to pick it up :)

I remember in in LP1 MP, Japanese players was all over the place LOL, I wont be surprised if it happens with LP2 as well. I assume they are going to be very hard to face with all their practice :P
I wouldnt be surprised if I saw the dodge roll being spammed in this game.
