PS3

Capcom put online on the Japanese PSN this new trailer of Lost Planet PS3 version. Be aware though that it shows some story content from far in the game, so consider yourselves warned!

Almost all of the climactic cutscenes combined eh.. did they add dead skin cells to their faces? I dont remember. If the game was faster paced, or deborified, I might play it again. .

I read that you will be able to play as Lucca in the Ps3 version...might be wrong though, so don't hunt me down if I was wrong.

Not that you guys can find my place ;)

I would've bought this game on 360 if 1) the devs hadn't replaced unlockables with achievements, 2) there weren't so many kids online. I'm hoping these issues are fixed in the PS3 version. I'll be onboard then

I'm not sure I understand, if you have a 360 you shouldn't consider the PS3 version if only for the fact that the 360 version is gonna be like $10 now. People hardly ever played online on the 360, I doubt the PS3 will get much higher. Even though I thought the MP was really great.

Theres nothing not to like about Lost Planet if you like shooters, but for some reason I never wanted to pick up the game for my 360 again after I finished the first level. Must be the endless snow.

fucking terrible! Not only did they not drop the object based motion blur (apparent in the last batch of screens) they summarized the entire story in this trailer.

Capcom isn't very smart....

Well, you could kind of tell, what, with a one year old port of a game that everyone has lost interest in.

Giving away entire games is the latest trend apparently

You have to consider what they have to work with too. Usually trailers takes 2 of the most exiting minutes of any game/movie/whatever and makes it look super awesome, but with Lost Planet the only thing that's any good are the cut scenes. It's logical really. If they showed gameplay no one would buy it :P

I for one bought the 360 version the CE when it launched and it was great, tons of people play online, and the time zone I am in, has mostly japanese players :P

Anyway, the game was great and all, but one thing I hate about the game is how unbalanced the weapons are online.

The whole remove a mnechs gun and run around with it and kill everyone with one shot...thats just stupid, and it made it unbalanced.

So I trade it in like 1-2 months later to another game.

If the weapons for online was balanced that you couldnt use the mechs weapons on foot then it would be something, but unfortunetly you can, so it is bad.

As boring a game as can be, the monsters are good but the art-style is too old and generic.

I beg to differ - the ending has a really melancholic vibe to it, really liked it a lot - stood definitely out from the crowd ...
