Xbox 360 Xbox

EA is finally starting to show more of Madden 06 on Xbox 360. This trailer is from a promotion compaign with Burger King, so it's converted from a Flash video. Don't expect a great quality.

EA said that this game would look even better than the trailers! WTF! This looks marginally better than NFL 2k5. Lying effers, man!

Very unimpressive, looks only slightly better than NFL 2K5 and the animations actually look worse.

This is EA in the next generation, as little effort as possible. Maximum profit that way you see.

This looks like the game NFL 2K6 should have been. Thats a good thing i guess, the player models don't suck anymore.

haha, I love when they show the player replacing his helmet... HELLO. I. AM. ROBOT. *beepbeep* Seriously, I have to say I'm disappointed. I was expecting massively good animation and revolutionary looks. Hopefully the gameplay will be better... I'm afraid this is EA's tactic for the next-gen consoles. Make one software and release it on Xbox and PS2, then add slightly smoother models and prettier shaders and ship it on X360 and PS3. Urgh.

Man, I was so looking forward to this game. So many 360 games are turning out to be lame or delayed.

I am glad I waited to pre-order a 360. Maybe next year the games will be good.

it's probably marketing, perhaps like the rumored PSP one?

*PSP market strategy rumor by Sony...(not sure if it is true or not)...current graphics and capability of PSP games are 2/3 of what they could be, Sony plans that right when PSP starts getting old, or when PS3 comes out, they will bring the PSP back into market by making games that will start using 3/3 of the power...good way to suck all the money out of the console...

...maybe microsoft plans on working same way?

This has nothing to do with Microsoft and everything to do with EA.

I don't know what you people are looking at. This looks just as good as the concept commercial EA released earlier this year.

Hey guys, you all know the routine when the first Madden comes out on a new system and what the last Madden is like before a new console comes out. I'm not going to lie the pictures should look better. The Shawn Alexander picture looks by far the best. Anyway the next gen Madden won't be tight until '07 or '08. Just like how it happened five years ago.
