I liked Mafia II, but it lacks plenty of stuff, this DLC shows they could've added nice side missions, but didn't care. So well said, GTFO 2K Games, this is robbery.

Yea, given that the game is fairly short this should have been on the disc, or at least free.
The writer and director of Mafia left the team, a petition has started where people ask for the complete version of Mafia II, with the 'cutted' content. I can see why....
they get away with it cause people keep buying the add on packs / cut from the game packs.what will be even more funny is if the pack is a few mega ;P and everything was on the game from get go. The golden years of gaming have gone...... now its the premium years.

$10 lmao.....not gonna happen.
It should be taken into consideration, that a game is often out of the hands of the developer long before it reaches the store. Things like new content can in many cases not be added eaven after late beta and such.
Still i really get your point here. It is of course a sell strategy in many cases as well, DLC does earn a lot of extra money. I just guess we have to get used to this now a days, game companies also needs some green to survive :) just like cows.
Just wanted to state this, have been lurking around here a long time and often seen these comments. I do not oppose them, just wanted to add this fact into the mix.
I'm usually the first to complain about this type of DLC(Too early), but for some reason i'm actually looking forward to this. It's probably because once the story is over your pretty much left twiddling your thumbs.
This DLC prolly should have been included in the retail game, but i felt satisfied by the main story. My main issue with Mafia 2 is that once the story's over, there's literally NOTHING to do. I guess you can hunt for all the Playboy mags, but that's not much fun imo. Some side quests, or activities similar to GTA, or SR would have been a welcome addition.
10$ seems pretty fair for 30+ missions. I just hope the missions are as well done as the the main story missions were.

Posted by Trebby LOL :-) comparing 2 different games.. nice job
Like KORNdog states, people were hyping this to be the GTA IV killer it never would be. People have been giving GTA IV a hell of a lot of shit and at the same time been praising this game for the past 2 yeasrs even though they never even touched it, claiming it to destroy GTA IV etc etc. I'm just poking some fun at those people.
Also, the whole point of a comparison is that you use 2 different games. There's no point in comparing the same game with itself. ;)

Don't be silly they are both open world, third person shooters. A comparison is completely legitimate.
