(or at least i did).
I would give it a 8/10, but it's defiantly a rental imo.
I bought this and enjoyed the story. Playing the story was like watching a great mob movie unfold before your eyes. BUT, after the story is over your left wondering why you didn't rent the game lol

its a good game, got a few problems regarding animation, music(radio) is awefully depressing, but it feels like its unfolding like a scarface kinda feel, very good story line.
i on lvl 4/10 and i only been on it an hour though(if that on hard)
a little bit to much driving me for too,but it is good.
i seen it on ps3 too and it defo runs alot better on x360,but it still has tearing, just not as much as demo
i got this on release day.

Hey spacemanjupiter, I wonder: how does the 360 game hold up compared to the demo? Improved framerate and tearing or the same?
It's irresistible to play through the story since it's told so well, unlike GTA4, which I've had for a year and haven't completed more than 3 missions.
How can you make that comparison if comparison about GTA4's story if you've only played 3 missions?

I finished Mafia2 this evening. I'm amazed by several aspects of the game, and I'm confident there will be some good DLC in the future to help with the replay value. There weren't quite enough random activities to simply have fun with. For example, I'm really surprised there isn't a strip joint in the game, and some other social events and places to have some fun with. I also didn't like the ending, but the ending was actually left open. They didn't really show how things ended up, even though you were led to believe something specific happened. 2K, let's see some DLC in the future that truly ties up that ending, because anything could have happened really, and we didn't get to see it.
