Although I played through the original plenty of times, and it's one of my favorite games of all time, I'm afraid I may have been spoiled by games like GTA. This is a story based, cinematic game, fairly linear in scope. I've now gotten used to sandbox type games and may unfairly expect to roam a 'living', open world and do what I want. If I remember correctly the original had a great 'free roam' option but I've heard that option is more limited in this remake. I really want to get it but I'll wait a bit longer and learn more about what is missing and what is intact from the original.
