Its very weird that 2k decided not to give review codes since everyone who played the preview build is saying good things about it. There are some issues but nothing major. There is even a guy on reddit who got the game early on ps4 and he likes it a lot so far. Does the game suddenly becomes terrible at the end or is it 2k being overprotective?

does it really matter if some entitled streamers or you tube lamers do not get there review copy? not really, i have seen what i need to see and ordered the game, if by now people still need a favorite stream or website or you tube lamer to tell them you will like the game, they should stop gaming

twitch and you tube are the whores of the industry along with a lot gaming websites, sooner they die off the better

Perhaps they hit their pre-order target and their internal reviews were not high enough so as to not see any benefit in sending out early review copies.

Well, the guy on reddit that got the game early on ps4 said the framerate was great from what he played so far. Maybe they improved it?

seriously, it's all the time. i tend not to notice framerate fluctuations much, but that's because most games have drops every so often. but mafia 3 seems to have it all the time. it's like it's got micro stutters no matter what you're doing. but driving around town is just super noticeable. could be framepacing? whatever it is it's really off putting.

I have watched an hour of gameplay today, and it is the same old open world formula: drive to point A, kill some dudes, drive to point B, kill some dudes,
I'm not confident this game will deliver more.

I just watched a minute of KORNdog's link and I don't think there's any 10 seconds w/o stuttering/hitching. Looks rough.

For reference it was around the three minute mark.

to be honest it looked smooth to me mate, i could not pick up the stuttering, hope it plays fine for ps4 players, i will have to wait and see how it plays on the PC version when i get it downloaded

Just watched a vid on YT that some gamer site put up 9 hours ago showing why the game is great. It was running on the One and looked pretty silky smooth from what i watched.

Think i might buy this, BF1 is coming and so is Watchdogs 2 so i'm kinda on the fence.
