not really. just go for the halo 1/2 approach of simply having a secondary "avatar" along for the ride, rather then being a integral part of the story (something RE5 tried to do), that way, you dont effect missions structure, quests, story, characer interaction, items etc. that second player is simply a second gun to help you out, nothing more.
it would work fine. if they did it like RE5 however, then no, they realy should leave co-op alone.

Ah, yea I'd much rather ME2 be different because other games are of similar genre. :S
These class videos make me sad, I don't know what to choose they all make each class look very appealing. Way more then my basic assault/soldier saved game from the first game.

You have a small squad, it would be perfect for coop. Fucking AI is retarded. From what I played of ME2 at PAX, they still didn't make it work as much as most would like.
