Mass Effect 2: Overlord DLC announced

Electronic Arts has announced a new DLC for Mass Effect 2 during its London showcase, entitled Overlord. In this new adventure composed of 5 missions, Shepard and his/her teammates will be dropped with their Hammerhead on a new planet where hazardous genetic experiments are done. The DLC is planned for a June release, and will offer more than 2 hours of play for only 560pts. But let's listen to its executive producer, Casey Hudson.

I still think its a lost opportunity they had there, to make a 2nd "little" campaign and releasing it just now in a Dragon Age Awakening style, instead in focusing in monthly DLC Missions.

Graah!! CHINAAA!! *shakes fist at sky* I feel your pain iosomewhere. Are there any chances that the goverment allows Xboxlive at some capacity in the future? Maybe not online gaming but surely downloadable content will be ok? Or then jus wait for the GOTY version of the game that's prob. out for holiday season anyways.

Between this (2 hours for a game I played through several times, I lost count) and the titles that get released now plus the XBLA frenzy that'll surely follow this summer (it was awesome last year), I'll take the latter. Sorry, that's just too little, too late.

@iosomewhere: There are easy ways of bypassing the internet censorship, there is a way to go live. Get yourself behind an US proxy.

I feel that. I wish they'd release something that would affect the whole campaign so the replay value would rise. This way it's like 10-20 mins of play and then you're like 'ok, that's it'. Dunno, we'll see.
Getting a new game or new dlc is always a dilemma because with dlc you'll get more out of a game you already got but then when you're done with it you can't get rid of the dlc like you can trade in a game in order to get a new one. In that perspective it makes more sense to me just to move on to a new game. But in my case the titles that are coming out now are not that interesting so I'll just grad some oldies for a good price and put some dlc on top of it a.k.a. a compromise.

Yeah,right now hoping for a GOTY version of the ME DLC.
The situation here in the last months is just getting worse. Not sure if there is any hope in near future on that. For a couple of days even Gamersyde was blocked. You wonder really whats there thinking is.

The strange thing is that it works to some degree,but online posting,blogging..messages..and certain other activities just act weird.
You try to download something mostly u cant connect,and if..after a while you always get disconnected :(

When you are surfing online with your pc,it's true you can find some means to get to websites at some point. There are some free proxies that allow you that. No data transfer but :(

If you have firefox you could use TOR a while back..for PC. But these days everything get more strict. Especially when u try to hock up ur xbox to the online service !

Anyway,if you know more then I do about that,please let me know.
