Images are cool but it's always more interesting when they are moving. Bioware totally proves the point by releasing this "badass" trailer of Mass Effect 2 in which we are introduced to Subject Zero.
I like her, for some reason her look/voice/attitude all works for me. But i can easily understand why many people find her annoying and cliched "badass woman with a trouble past".
So far, we've seen a good amount of different type of characters. Should be fun and interesting tp learn bit more about them.
The trailer is bad, but I don't think the character is as annoying as the trailer sounds. When she turns out to be just that I'll kill her on my first opportunity. *looks at stuffed Wrex head on the wall and strokes cat*
I like her a lot, for some reason, I think I'll use her quite often. Now, I'd be really pissed if the whole game was so over the top, but seeing it's just one character... And hey, some people I know are almost like her :)
I know Bioware is playing the "suicide mission" line very heavily but I sure hope that not all of the new recruits for your party will be deviants. Because I really think that this B-team of kamikazes is really better suited to the Rogue Shepard style of play than the Paragon Shepard.

I think if you only played Shepard as a Rogue these new characters really don't bother you. They're hired guns, no need to be too smart and just kill whoever Shepard's shooting at. In other words they can be about as two-dimensional as Subject Zero has been presented to us.
I'm sure there's more backround to Sub-Zero (not a very original name or personality btw)but I don't think these characters fit with a Paragon Shepard at all.
And I'll say it again, I hope that at least a couple of the new recruits aren't deviants.
