Trailer PC Xbox 360 PS3

Many of you must have completed Commander Shepard's quest to save the universe, but the arrival of a new single player DLC could make you want to play Mass Effect 3 a bit more. In three days, the story will go on, well more or less since this new mission will take place before the game's ending. Check out the new trailer, or better yet if you plan on buying it, stay away from it not to spoil any of the surprises EA and Bioware have in store for you.

It is over, I played it, it ended. Let's focus on another game on other things in the universe. Like the Krogans or something.

There is no way that this will do well. Unless they announce Mass Effect 4 on the same day, there is no way I'll be buying more content for this story. It will be completely meaningless and won't change the way the game ends.

A meaningless DLC. Yeah, it sums it up nicely.

not interested in this. No new enemies, nothing. Not even a patch to fix all the Multiplayer glitches (infinite rockets).

No patch = no buy :)

I see people are still butthurt over the ending. Too bad cause ME3 is actually a good game.

Anyway the DLC look interesting. I will probably buy it.

I actually just wanted to know if this dlc is just a weird venture that leads them no where or does this create a whole new out look. cause the comments about this dlc are mixed and mostly negative.

If someone had asked me if i'd wanted ME to die on it's arse after playing the first game, i'd have laughed in their face. But now, after the awful second game and mediocre third. I just want it to fuck off. I'd be surprised if anyone actually gave a shit about this DLC tbh.

I have yet to finish the first LOL ! But just like with AssCreed, i'm not planning to buy me a second or even a third installment. Well if i see it for 10 bucks... maybe... but only maybe.

If it at least was some meaningful DLC that advances the plot. But you already know from the get go that Shepard won't find the "anti-reaper" weapon in this DLC

After awful SECOND game? I'm sorry, but I have to say it: you are f*cking retarded. Seriously. I mean I always knew it from your posts to every game here, but thanks for making it obvious to everyone around.

@dargis49: if I knew how's it gonna be and if you love second game, I'd suggest you don't bother with 3d. I don't think I experienced bigger disappointment than that in past 10 years.

I still like the third game Don't get me wrong, with the right character the game has tons of replay value.

this is my character.
http://www.xpgamesaves.com/topic/42695-mass-effect...

if you want her, she's up for download!

but for 360, if you have the pc version it works too, just extract the content from the save file.

Anyways, more single player DLC, with new equipment, and new places and outcomes, like a possible 3 way.... :P

Well I also agree that the second game was worse than the first but after plying ME3...woooooooooow. Bad animations (for sheppard),less RPG elements, auto dialog everyhwere, no really good story elements besides bringing peace to several races, lack of side missions (most of them are the multiplayer maps or simply text based stuff), less cities to explore (they killed everything except for the citadel part), no graphically improvements at all and the list goes on and on and on

At least in ME2 you actually had interesting characters + interaction, nice places to visit/explore, lot's of hidden stuff....and Shepard actually walks like a human being(!) lol

ME3 was a lot more like 1, it had shit animations and an arguably terrible ending, but it at least put more emphesis on character development, RPG elements and a decent story... 2 stripped EVERYTHING out. Something didnt work too great, they shit canned it rather then improve it. Combat was better, everything else was worse. Characters where terrible compared to ME1. Story felt like a means to reach the third game but nothing more. Conversations felt redundant, not very fun, planet scanning which was the most boring thing to grace a video game. ME2 was awful.

ME3 fits between 1 and 2 as far as quality is concerned. They still dumbed a lot of stuff down, granted, but it wasn't to the insulting degree ME2 did things. Going from ME1 to ME2 was like going from the RPG genre to a half assed third person shooter genre. It was jarring as fuck. go from ME1 to ME3 though, and it's not so bad.

Yeah, ME3 had the weapon slot stuff again, but still no inventory for you (an your teammates).

Hm, basically ME2 was all about your squad (ME1 is about introducing the ME universe to the player), each one with their own story, problems and personalities. How can you can say that there is no character development in ME2? :/
It was ME2s strongest aspect.

I agree with the planet scanning though. It's just as stupid as playing PACMAN on ME3 map screen (where you can even die....on a MAP SCREEN! lol). But at least they patched it in ME2 and made the scanning for minerals much faster.
