Microsoft released these three big videos about Mass Effect, and more precisely about the voice overs. In the first one Seth Green is interviewed about his voice work for the game, we then get to see some outtakes of his recording session and the last one presents three more quality actors for other important characters.

Ironic is that I saw AVP again on DVD like 2-3 days ago.
I guess some guys get very cool dark /gritty voices when they become older, I WISH my voice could be like that :D
Anyway, awesome stuff.
If BioWare says that Shepard is like Jack Bauer in space, they need Keifer Sutherland AKA Jack Bauer in this game to doa cool soldier voice over in Normandy or any soldier that can be in your group later on.
And Seth Green, well I just can't see "Joker" being a bad ass, more as a joker , but thats fine, some humor and sarcasm in the game is needed.

Commented on 2007-10-18 23:09:49Haven't played a Bioware game before but those few snippets of text made me cringe... some highly clumsy exposition being thrown around there. It must affect the actors as well because some of the delivery sunk to near porn movie levels.

I don't like Keith Davids though. It's mostly because he looks so evil. I don't trust him. Did Lance play the android in the Alien films btw? Thought he was pretty cool.

This is especially evident during the "Emergency Transmission" videos, Davids voice has a lot of tension and suspense, but the on screen character is just completely expression-less and bland..it really does throw everything off..
However, as long as we don't have to deal with this character face-to-face too much I think it'll be fine..
