RDR and GTA's MP had the novelty of an open world at least, not sure how well this is going to fair tbh. probably end up as a throwaway experience. no staying power... but the single player looks decent so who cares.
Sure, but GTA has awful, awful controls (hey, I actually like GTA4 a lot, but lets be honest). The most fun I ever had with GTA4's MP was just messing around in the sandbox with people. If they nail the action game aspect of this game I think it holds more promise for MP than those games did.

I'm not sure why people are so quick to write it off. This game looks a helluva lot better than Stranglehold, and I have no reason to suspect that the MP won't be better too.
Every game does not need MP, but it sorta fits here.
