Rockstar should hire other studios for the PC version of their games because they have no idea how to optimize a game.

I've always liked Max Payne since the original, but I'm just really not impressed by what I've seen, to be honest. I'm sure as always, the story telling will hopefully be what makes it, but as far as visuals go... eh. He looks like he's made of play-doh.

For fuck sake , hope you are trolling if not you really are a incompetent.
How do you know this will run bad on you or any PC if the game isn't even released. And how is it that rock star doesn't know how to optimize a game?

Because of gta 4? 1 game... because 1 game used more then it should(still completely playable on a decent PC).
I am astound of the lack of good developed arguments or even explained complaints these day's here.

I'm not trolling and i'm not an incompetent. I'm an avid PC gamer and let's face it,Rockstar doesn't have a good history with PC gaming and i'll give you more examples:GTA,Bully,L.A. Noire. At the time of their release they didn't run smooth and requiered ridiculously large specs. I'm just saying it couldn't hurt if they optimize them a bit.

He's got a point.

Another point of interest is the fact almost EVERY rockstar game release for PC has required the user to have a specific OS Service Pack.

I just had a flash back of GTA4's release, ugh.

But let's hope for the best.

With how much hdd space it takes up one would think that it comes bundled with GTA V.

These recommeded HDD space specs are always BS, I remember Borderlands had like 20gb but the game ended up being less than 6gb. I reckon they do this in case you happen to have your computer hanging on a few gigs left of space.

Low is listed as an E6600 and 8600GT. Which is laughable. I bet this game would run unimaginably poorly on such a setup. That's really pushing it.

Every last on of them is running good after a patch or tweak.
And yes they are no Blizzard maybe, but still do a good job for what the game offers.

:Crooked:And how is that also again such a bad thing. I always have my stuff up to date(like most people have).
Also would i like to know what in your means a bad performance is?

Only thing i am personally curious about is why the game needs 35 gig.

Crashing. Crashing is bad performance. Also relying on anything outside of directx drivers from your OS is usually a sign of bad bundle management/stability.

I follow the solid rule of thumb. I don't update just because there is an update. I update if I have a problem with something.

In this case, I do not wish to have to update my os, and break 19 other games just to get MP3 to run (like GTA4 did). I'm going to play it safe this time and see what the tide brings in before I pick it up.
