Do we have another LA Noire on our hands? Will we get another Rockstar disgruntled workers story?
Jan. 2010: "The game's story just went through another total re-write earlier this month (the third that I am aware of in the past two years)..."
There is a cover mechanic
You play both present day max and 'classic' max
The game looks atmospheric and pretty nice visually
They're not very good shots for telling wtf is going on. One shot has odd "glass" broken and somebody getting gunned down by somebody. The other is better, because you can see Max, waiting for a badguy at the end of the hall. BUT... wtf are the red lines in the hallway!? Laser sights??? Also, why is their a door chain hanging next to Max's head, but NO DOOR, since he's standing in the hallway?!?
It`s like having a new actor in to replace somebody who dropped out of a film series........it simply ruins the experience and immersion.

Wicked memories, but I hope that my nostalgia won`t ruin this installment.
Here are some of the highlights that were listed:
-The combination of Natural Motion’s Euphoria character behavior system and Bullet Time adds a new level to Max’s classic shoot-dodge moves. Shoot-dodge is not a canned animation, but a natural interaction with the environment, as Max will reach out to the floor as he dives, and naturally respond to objects in his way if you attempt to dive into a wall or obstacle
-This marriage of slow-motion gunplay and Euphoria physics amplifies the cinematic action of Max Payne 3 significantly, and enemies will also respond realistically to each bullet fired.
-James McCaffrey, the original voice of Max, is back. Not only as the voice of max, but Max’s appearance, face and many of his movements in Max Payne 3 are all captured directly from James himself.
-Tremendous detail has been paid to every facet of Max Payne 3: Bullets destroy nearly everything in the environment, sweat will appear on Max’s face and shirt as the heat of battle wears on, and blood soaks the clothing of his enemies. You’ll also notice the minute details of the weapons themselves: hammers cock back, slides move, shells expel from the chamber and literally hundreds more.
I LOVE the thought of bullet time married with Euphoria and a cover system. This sounds like the perfect third person shooter. Also love that they are bringing back McCaffrey for both voice and appearance.
The only thing I question is the part about sidekicks and partners. Max Payne games always seemed to be a solitary affair. I don't know how I feel about babysitting and having my buddies rob me of MY kills. Overall thought, I couldn't be much happier with their direction.
Double Agent however was too far lol.
