At least Bioware know how much DLC is actually worth, *cough*(Reach)*cough*.
On topic this looks to be great, a fine ending to what was easily one of the best games this gen.
- Overlord
- Lair of the Shadow Broker
- Arrival
There was also, Zaeed: The Price of Revenge, and Firewalker, both of which comes with the Cerberus Network.
I have been saving all the post-release DLC releases for one final run-thru the game on max difficulty. Am I the only one who wish more companies would get their DLC out of the way on a more timely basis. At this point I have been holding on to Mass Effect 2 for over a year now, but I could not help wish that more companies would follow the Fallout 3 DLC model . . . you know, wait a couple months after release for the first DLC, and then release a new DLC pack every six weeks after. A seven month gap between DLC releases is not exactly . . . well, if these things were like major expansions (Oblivion: Shivering Isles, GTA4: The Ballad of Gay Tony), it would be a different story; the wait time is expected. But most DLC adventures are pretty short, and that being the case, it certainly would be nicer to get them out on a more timely schedule, is all I am saying.
Anyway, will finally be nice to wrap things up in prep for Mass Effect 3. On the subject of which, am I the only person who gets the feeling MA3 is going to slip into next spring? And truth be told, considering that Skyrim is coming out in November, I'd hate to see the two compete directly for gamers' RPG dollars, and wind up cannibalizing each others market share, because they were released too close to each other.
Now in late 2011 I have Deus Ex: HR, Mass Effect 3, Skyrim and Rage all competing for my attention in the RPG area, and I want all of them!
