Don't worry guy, Gamersyde hasn't become an HDR only website, but we're trying to catch up on the games we could never show you this way and Metro Exodus was one of them. The last DLC entitled Sam's Story was released a little while back but we never truly took the time to give it some coverage so we figured it would be a good opportunity to do so. We'll probably add some SDR footage as well in the days to come, but until then you can finally see what 4A Games' title looks like with HDR and ray tracing.

I have a standart SDR 1080p monitor. At first time I watched these videos on YouTube in 720p viewport window I liked them a lot. So I decided to download and enjoy them in fullscreen via MPC-HC+MadVR. I was surprised how bad they look in fullscreen. That horrible oil painting effect from sharpening filter ruines the whole picture! It looks worse than native 1080p! And this is a 4K picture downscaled to 1080p! I mean, HOW CAN YOU NOT SEE THIS? This looks horrible! This DLSS nonsense destroys all purpuse of playing in UHD.
