Xbox 360 PS3

Rockstar will be releasing the South Central DLC for Midnight Club: Los Angeles on the 12th of March, and here's a trailer showing it. The free version includes a 33% addition to the map area and new neighbourhoods. The premium one, for 800p, includes 26 new races, 9 new vehicles, new parts, music and more.

800p? Those of us that don't use monopoly money to buy DLC won't know how much it is.

about £6.50/$10.

the 360 has been out 3+ years, surely you must have wrapped you're head around the points system by now. it's not rocket science.

No, I haven't had the need to. But really it's just annoying that everything automatically gets translated to the dumb points system rather than just a real price.

Awesome trailer. Price isn't too bad when considering the content they included, but the it's still too steep for me, and the new cars don't really interest me.

There is a free version. The game came pretty fully packed as it was.

I really think adding only extra cars is somehow a cheap shot but in this case it actually adds new areas and races so I would label this as DLC done right.

Don't own the game myself although it looks nice, the reviews about the cheap rubberband AI put me off a bit.

Let me get the straight, the FREE version... includes a 33% addition to the map, while the part you pay for is just a few cars. So, that's good right? The best part of the DLC doesn't cost a penny and people are still complaining? Where do these guys get off? Take the free stuff and leave the cars, there are plenty in the game already, some people oughta be more grateful.

you get the additional area for free, sure, but not the additional races/delivery missions etc, which kind of makes the free area a little pointless.

I think the better reason is, that as it isn't real, your brain can't quantify it, thus you can buy as much as you like and you never really notice. Especially when you buy it from the Marketplace, but that's just me isn't it?! :S

I'd give 800p if they'd throw in some acceptable difficulty settings! Seriously... :|
