It looks like Rockstar is trying to prove that GTA IV isn't the only game to be released under their name this year with this new gallery of Midnight Club: Los Angeles images. Not bad I guess.
I thought the third one was great, weren't a big fan of the 2nd one, just looked at these after looking at GRID, and they look pretty poor in comparison, but some decent shots and wouldn't put it down in the graphis department, lets hope this turns out quality.
I know, I know... difficult to do and pointless... but my problem with these games is the lack of pedestrians (Burnout et al). Yes, yes it's missing the point, but it sells me on the gameworld!
I don't mind if they leap out of the way unrealistically! :P
Absolutely more interesting than Burnout Paradise in my opinion. Didn't like the style of Paradise... the city felt flat, the colour scheme didn't look good and was almost black/white (it got that weird colours like already a few other EA games had, like NBA Street Home Court, Skate, Def Jam and more)... And it was always the same lighting and middle of the day...
Midnight Club: Los Angeles will have more living breathing world and a real time cycle with different lightings and stuff = more variation. I bet this game will kick ass...
Looking pretty great to me, but it's hard to get excited over these cars after GT5P. I liked the gameplay in both MC2 and 3, so this is a title I will almost certainly be buying.

i dont see any issue with in-game ads if they're like this, makes the game feel more convincing. now if it forced me to watch an iPod ad every loading screen i'd be pissed off. billoards are fair game tho, since they are in real life.
