It's nothing like Driver, but more like Test Drive: Unl. Mostly racing but there is some "taxi" or "delivery" type missions.

With solid colission/destruction model, this can be a hit!
I agree. It's always had great damage modeling but the collisions were crap because of the physics and the cars didn't have enough weight to them. The car rolling in the trailer gives me some hope though. Game has great potential. I also want to see one of the peds get hit to see if they have good ragdoll physics :)
I'm very happy to see them put the effort into the dashboard/in-car views this time (yeah I'm looking at you Forza and NFS!), but dissappointed to see the power ups still in there. An EMP pulse that disables vehicles around you?!? WTF? It just doesn't fit.

I haven't seen any confimation on that yet other then mention of it in one of EA's financial statements. Guess I assumed it wasn't coming til next year. Do you have a link or any other info on it?

Maybe the unrealistic look is intended, but lightning seems to be completely off, textures are very flat and simple and the character models look like straight from the last gen...i´m not very impressed..i expected a bit more..
