NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. announced today that the next chapter of the "Mobile Suit Gundam" series will be coming to our PS3s this fall 2006. Just look at its stunning graphics (HD quality).
I think the screens are nothing special (graphicwise). In my opinion we still need more memory for increasing texturesize. Last picture looks like last gen.
I´m still waiting for the promised "movie-like" graphics

Actually, these look better than anything shown from this game before.
The mechs look amazing. Really detailed and they don't look like they're straight from the factory. The enviroments should have more variety. Now it's just too simple.
They put more money into the ps3 game then the 360 and they are suppose to be different story wise. Yeah they should have made the memory at least 1GB. Cause textures are hurting real bad in next gen consoles.

Seems odd to me to make two completely different games on exactly the same theme for two platforms. Still i suppose it almost rules out direct comparisons of graphics.

Nah, its the same game as the E3 mech CG trailer. Dunno what Azu is on about, the CG trailer looks much better than this..of course (especially the dmg modelling)
Feel free to compare to the TGS vid at IGN too, at the time i thought it looked great, but now... the TGS trailer isnt that good looking at all anymore.
Regarding these new shots, they are very similar to the E3 06 videos no? Just watched them for the first time just now, and the framerate was horrible, just like the dmg modelling (he slashes at the leg, and the arm flies off -_-).
In stillshots they come out nicer, nothing over the top tho.
Huge difference. This is basically your traditional Gundam game where you only play as a Gundam mech (pilot inside the mech) and shoot/slash at stuff. If you've ever played the Gundam game on Dreamcast or the early one for the PS2 then that's what it seems to be like. The Xbox 360 version is basically like Battlefield set in the Gundam universe, where you can play as a soldier and also pilot a mech as a vehicle. Obviously there will be only a few Gundams on any given map, so it's a fight to see who gets to be a Gundam.
both games look hellova shoddy in gameplay.... even with the excitement of new graphics and new gen, this scores will bring expectations down to earth....I will be quite impressed if either is good
