PC Xbox 360

It's with great pleasure that I received a few minutes ago the announcement of the upcoming periodical release of Tales of Monkey Island, developed by Telltale for Wiiware and PC. And even better, Lucasarts is also working on a HD remake of the first game called The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition, for PC and XBLA.

Tales of Monkey Island could be great. Telltake made awesome Sam&Max games recently. Not so interested about the remake.

If that's official art of Guybrush, it's possibly the most horrible thing man has done to mankind ever.

Awesome! I can't wait to see TellTale's stuff. The HD remake is also somewhat compelling, but I loved Sam&Max Season 1. Still need to play Season 2.

The game looks kinda funky but it's certainly not as bad as the post picture made me fear. Also, Telltale, probably should've had more faith in their ability to identify what was cool about it in the first place. And Dominic back as Guybrush makes me absolutely fuzzy inside.

Also, having the original look in there is a good initiative. I know most people today will think it a blocky mess, but for those that want the experience a little more authentic if you will, it's nice that they have an opportunity to enjoy it like us old farts did back in the day.

Still, in my opinion, the funniest game there is.

Would have liked to see a proper remake, I hate this sort of upscaled shoddy atempt at money making.

i think i would have liked a more complete graphical overhaul, with smoother animations and stuff, but hell...this looks good as well, i hope they remake part 2 as well as that's my favorite one :)

No i woulnd't, as long as they kept the art and story true to the original then i seen no hard in it, I would settle for 2.5D TBH.

I just think this is really cheap (voice work is cool i suppose), I would sooner save my money and play the old game,
