Now that our vacation time is over, we're back to business and we have some catching up to do with you in the English side. Monster Hunter Wilds was released last week on PC and consoles and with it came a bunch of technical issues on all platforms. We didn't have time to do it in English but we put up a commented video focused on the PS5 Pro version last week, but we're sharing it with you now so you can at least enjoy the footage (don't hesitate to lure the sound or watch the YouTube version with the automated subtiles tool to understand what we're saying). Note that some information in the video was based on what was announced By Capcom before launch but that it hasn't been updated since DF assumed PSSR was not used as an upscaler but as an antialiasing method instead. If confirmed, it means that the base resolution in each mode is actually the resolution you see on screen. Added to this video, we're giving you a chance to check out the base PS5 and see how it fares in the three available graphics modes, which should make it easy to notice that the results are much worse on the base consoles in terms of image quality (particularly in Performance mode). Last but not least, we have a few image galleries of the Pro version to show you. Sadly, we weren't given access to the Xbox version and the PC one we got first ended up crashing after the latest Windows update...
