As promised yesterday, here are 2 more videos of Full Auto. The first one is a race to the end of a track, and return, and the other is the rampage where you simply try to cause as much damage as possible.
You'll certainly notice a blurry area on the left of the videos, it's been added by myself to hide some informations you guys should not see :)

could you tell us in short what your impression was? is it smooth or does it have massive slowdowns? compared to the demo, how is it?

any footage with the hud cam? I would never drive in this behind the car view...

Yes Blim, we're still waiting on some of your impressions.
Initial reviews are looking VERY poor:
Maniac (germany) : 75%
Gamepro (germany) : 78%
OXM (march issue) : 5.5/10

Would be nice to get some feedback of someone who's played the game closer to what will be available at release to see if this game is as bad as reviewers have been saying.

i wouldnt say 78 and 75% are VERY poor ratings. That's above avergave I'd say, 5.5 isn't that great!

Well I've never heard of those other magazines and only got those scores from other people who posted them. 55% from the "official" xbox magazine is really bad though considering they typically over-score most of their games.

supposedly OXM's plusses and minuses
+ rewind feature is excellent
-Limited weapons options
-No story or plot, not even a thin one.

not quite sure what they were expecting when they said story or plot, even a trained monkey can see this game is billed as an arcade racer.

5.5/10 from OXM?!?!

They usually give higher reviews then other sites/magazines.. Jeez that's a really bad sign for this game. However I will say the videos up there look FAR better then the demo.

Everybody is bitching about this game that it isnt fun..
but when i dont look at the screens but at the video.. i think that this is
one of the funniest multyplayer games that there is to play..
its fast its burning and its mind blowing..

These reviews are all bull to be honest my pre-order will remain the same countless great videos of the game don't lie. Not to mention it seems that many of these so called reviewers are getting pissy about the fact that there is no justification for why you got guns on your car going around shooting other cars in races from what I've heard.

They need to get it through their damn heads that the game isn't about a storyline its just about arcade fun. I think these reviewers aren't even reviewing a final build of the game probably just some really early build. Even major nelson of xbox live got an early build on his desk that he said he highly doubts is the finished copy.

Couldn't agree more bas.

From what I've seen of this game the graphics look good enough, but I think gameplay is where the game suffers. The driving/combat concept definately has potential but I don't think they've managed to exploit it. So in closing I will suggest that instead of calling it 'Full Auto' they should call it 'Full Lameness'.. HAHAHA I'm funny.

Wow, that OXM score is really surprising. Previously they touted it as great fun. All the journalists seemed to love the E3 demo last year. The only thing I can think is that perhaps the racing gets old fast? I find that hard to believe though as I've played the one track demo for hours... probably for longer than some other full games I've bought. :)

In the rampage vid, when they go back to shoot the gas tank and it shoots across the road into a building... oh yeah, that's what it's about. :D

yo, guys - big dissapointment - German mag Gamepro has already tested (as mentioned above) the review copy of the final build (it scored 76%) and according to them the slowdowns are still imminent. that's very sad, because I was considering that one :((

well, at least Burnout shapes up quite nicely . . . .. hehe

Most likely framerate in the blur part, but I doubt its that big a deal did anyone notice any serious slowdowns that affected the experience in those vids?

The rampage was pure chaos and it ran nicely.

How is the german mag reviewing a so called final build when not even the usa gamepro has anything on the game not even ign or any other sources? I could care less to be honest I've liked what I have seen so i'll just relax and wait for my pre-order to get delivered.

It's not the framerate I've had to hide, sorry I can't tell more. It's not that big a deal anyway.
As for the game, well I'm not surprised at all by these scores. The gameplay is ok but feels pointless and just doesn't really make you want to see more (not that there is that much to unlock anyway for what I've seen) and if the framerate hasn't been fixed then a 5.5/10 seems justified to me.

Nope, it's the legitimate score they gave it.
Sad but I guess that "arcade racer" just isn't good enough anymore.

Ah well, I'm still undecided if I'll buy it. Hopefully one of my friends buys it so I can play on their copy first.
