the developers themselves said the ones from before were old version shots...

this is what the game looks like as of right now... and theres still months left in development time.

they aren't going to get any worse than this. (which im fine with)

Looks much better, though as others, I will reserve judgement as I believe there is a decent chance that these screens were doctored in order to curb any negative reactions to the last shots.

Why a developer would release bad looking screens for a pretty huge upcoming title makes no sense to me. If it were an internal mixup, it could end up costing them millions in sales.

What is taking this game so long? Bad Company is just around the corner. Nobody is going to care much about scripted bell tower explosions pretty soon...

seriously, I am DONE with WWII shooters! I don't care either if this is the most INNOVATIVE WWII FPS!

When is this WWII shit gonna stop? Is there really nothing else these DEVS can come up with?

Seriously, I hope all this effort will result in poor sales! At least than you'll reconsider using your freaking brains and jot down something more pleasurable and fun.

I think that's a little harsh tbh, we're all tired of WW II shooters, but if they worked hard and the game turns out to be really good and fun, then they deserve whatever success they worked for.

You wouldn't buy the most innovative shooter merely because it takes place in a WWII setting?

I understand getting sick and tired of constantly playing D-day over and over again and all that kinda stuff but BIA3 as far as I'm concerned the first game to cover operation market garden and the fact that you would go as far as to wish failure upon all of the devs hard work makes think that your just one giant asshole .

Seriously the reason people don't like WWII shooters is because its the same thing over and over but BIA3 has strayed away from that and your still bitching about playing a WWII game just because its a WWII game. Regardless of everything else in the game you wont like it because of the setting of the game.

Do you see how illogical what your saying is?

Seriously, BIAHH is a lot different from all the other FPS. In other words, it's very unique. It is all about hardcore squad combat with movie-style approach. Please, don't say that you are tired of WW2 shooters before what this game really is. BTW Cheboury, I hope you to fail.

Bad Company isn't going to be nearly as interesting of a campaign as this game is. OMG you can blow up a house! When that gimmick wears off, it'll still be Bad Company 2 with a story.

yeah i knew the last images graphics had to be from an older build or something. these look great. hopefully this game can inspire any other game going in WWII to be good. cause i did like WWII games because they are really intense and emotional which makes for a great game, but starting hating it wen horrible games get made in its setting.

I know we have had a ton of these games before, but I don't think the 'genre' of WWII shooters is quite stale YET. What we need now is a hugely engrossing WWII adventure which will suck you in with a great story, atmosphere, music, etc. I still look at WWII shooter screens and get goosebumps sometimes thinking about people who were involved in such a huge war such a short time ago.

for me, all this game had going for it was its gfx. Theres already 200 other WW2 shooters out, all the same. But after being shown for about 2 years now, and looking worse over time (especially with newer games released), this game is losing any interest.

This is some kind of a joke, right? I`m not blind and my memory are ok right now.

Compare 3rd screen from there for example and 4rth screen from here.

This is just disaster.

It must be an old build. I just watched a long demo video from July 2007 of the developers showcasing gameplay, and that looked really great. Graphics were fine and gameplay was even better.

after not showing the game for months at a time, why would they decide to show an older version of the game with worse graphics? I seriously doubt this is an older build. This is the newer version and they obviously made some serious downgrades on the gfx.

btw, even the first screenshots of this game looked loads better, so unless these shots are from like...pre-alpha stage, this is how it looks now.
