More NFS Hot Pursuit images

EA released a bunch of new images of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, showing some more cars and landscapes. From what we have seen, there should be enough variety to make players want to visit every corner of Seacrest County, so let's hope the gameplay will not disappoint. Criterion being behind this year's edition, it is probably safe to be optimistic, but until we can see what the final version has to offer, we will hold our breath.

I've seen these few weeks ago so they're not new.
They still look amazing, though.

These are not bull shots. You can see aliasing in them. They are in game, but staged to give off an action vibe.

People are never happy with graphical advances.

Wtf? I never said those were bullshots. I know they ain't. >.<;
I know that Criterion is able to do something like this but I'm still worried about how it'll look like on my screen.

I am happy with graphical advances, only I doubt that this will be the graphical fidelity you'll be seeing in your HDTV when playing the console version. On PC maybe.
That's exactly what was on my mind. Did they announce any demo? I can't recall.

Doesn't anyone feel the tracks look a bit spartan? Lots of straights with little extraneous animation and spectacle. I suppose if that guarantees a silky smooth framerate it'll be okay.
